Welding Engineering

Certification of companies to CSA Standards W47.1 (steel) and W47.2 (aluminum); professional engineers responsible for welding practice

Preparation of Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS’s) to Canadian Standards Association (CSA), American Welding Society (AWS), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), International Organization for Standards (ISO) standards and Client specific contract documents. Materials include, but are not limited to, mild to quenched and tempered steels, aluminum, stainless steels, nickel alloys and chrome molybdenum plate and pipe.

Recommendations for cost effective welding.

Fabrication and erection site audits.

Third party review of welding procedures, including ASME Section III, Nuclear Facility Components

Civil Engineering

Design of aluminum overhead sign structures and aluminum and stainless steel support systems for tank covers.

Design of steel and stainless steel tanks.

Design of industrial structures such as conveyor galleries, storage sheds, and lifting devices and associated lugs.

Inspection, repair and design of marine facilities for berthing and mooring ships.
